CIM History Gallery is located on the west side of the sixth floor of Shiing-Shen Building. It was officially set up on October 16, 2019 and for which a grand opening ceremony was held in the institute. CIM History Gallery is divided into nine parts. It includes the introduction of CIM; the introduction of Shiing-Shen Chern and Guoding Hu; Faculty and Staff Members; Overview of Special Academic Year; Academic Conference; Visitors and Academic Exchanges; The Growth of CIM; Concern from Leadership; and CIM Affiliations.

The establishment of the CIM History Gallery not only records the history of Chern Institute of Mathematics for more than 30 years, but also lays a good foundation for the development of CIM and the collection of precious historical materials of CIM.
