On May 29-30, 2021, the Nankai Forum for Young Scholars on Lie Theory—in Memory of the 110th Anniversary of the Birth of Shiing-Shen Chern was held in Shiing-Shen Building. The Forum Organizing Committee was composed of Prof. Chengming Bai and Prof. Zhiqi Chen from Nankai University, and Prof. Yan Wang from Tianjin University. A total of 11 lectures were delivered during the forum. With more than 30 attendees from all over the country, including Shanghai, Xiamen, Suzhou, Zhengzhou, Harbin and Tianjin, the forum provided a great opportunity for young teachers and scholars working on Lie theory to learn and share their ideas. It's conducive to the field's future development in China, also a commemoration to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Shiing-Shen Chern.
