The Nankai Symposium on Information Theory and Its Applications was held at the Chern Institute of Mathematics, Nankai University from April 25 to 27, 2025. The Organizing Committee of the symposium consists of Professor Fangwei Fu, Professor Xuan Guang and other scholars from Nankai University. Attended by over 40 scholars from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Anhui, Sichuan and Shaanxi, the symposium also served as one of the celebratory events marking the 40th anniversary of the Chern Institute of Mathematics.

A total of 22 lectures were delivered during the symposium, covering information theory and its applications in related research fields. The event provided an excellent platform for experts and scholars to exchange ideas and insights.
