On April 20, the Work Session and Academic Committee Meeting of The Key Laboratory of Pure Mathematics and Combinatorics of Ministry of Education ( LPMC) was held in Shiing-Shen Building on Balitai Campus, Nankai University. The President of Nankai University Xuetao Cao attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

At the Work Session, Prof. Chengming Bai, Director of the The Key Laboratory of Pure Mathematics and Combinatorics of Ministry of Education and the Chern Institute of Mathematics, gave a report titled "Review and Prospect" on the work of the Laboratory. Academician Yiming Long was invited to deliver a lecture on "Iteration theories for periodic orbits: old and new" and Academician Weiping Zhang was invited to deliver a lecture titled "Eta-invariant and closed geodesics". Hosted by the Director of the Academic Committee Song Jiang, the Academic Committee Meeting was then held by LPMC.
