On October 10-13, 2019, the Workshop on Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems and the memorial conference for the 90th anniversary of Prof. Tongren Ding's birth was held in Shiing-Shen Building. Members of the organizing committee included Prof. Jiangong You and Prof. Qi Zhou from Nankai University. A total of 19 lectures were delivered during the workshop which gathered more than 120 attendees from all over the country, including Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Jiangsu. The workshop was held in remembrance of Prof. Tongren Ding who was one of the founders of differential equations and dynamical systems in China. It provided a great opportunity for young teachers and scholars working on the field to learn and share their ideas, and it's conducive to the field's future development in China.
