On July 23-26, the 2019 Workshop on Matrices and Operators was held in Shiing-Shen Building. The organizing committee was composed of Prof. Guimei An, Prof. Lei Li, Prof. Rui Liu and Prof. Chi-Keung Ng. A total of 42 lectures were delivered during the workshop which gathered around 120 attendees from China, the United States, South Korea and Canada. The workshop provided a great opportunity for young teachers and scholars working on matrices and operators to learn and share their ideas, and it's conducive to the field's future development in China.
