On December 10, the 3rd Zhide Award Ceremony was held on the Balitai Campus of Nankai University. Forty-seven teachers and students were awarded by Zhide Foundation. Attendees of the ceremony included Members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Professors of Chern Institute of Mathematics Mo-Lin Ge, Yiming Long and Weiping Zhang, Member of the Standing Committee of Nankai University's Party Committee and Assistant to the President Hai Yu and the representative of Zhide Foundation.

Through selection and assessment, the 2019 Zhide Awards recipient list finally came with one winner of the Zhide Outstanding Achievement Award, two winners of the Zhide Excellent Achievement Award, twelve winners of the Zhide Achievement Award, three winners of the Zhide Young Scholar Award, six winners of the Zhide Excellent Faculty & Staff Award, three winners of the Zhide Foundation Scholarship, eight winners of the Shiing-Shen Chern Zhide Scholarship, eight winners of the Ying Hou Scholarship and eight winners of the Zhide Scholarship.

The representative of Zhide Foundation, Mr. Hai Yu, representative of awarded students Sunyan Huang and representative of awarded teachers Qiongling Li each made a speech at the ceremony. Among the participants of this event there were also the representatives of the Management Committee of Zhide Foundation, Chern Institute of Mathematics, School of Mathematical Sciences, College of Foreign Languages, School of Finance and Nankai Institute of International Economics.

In 2016, Dr. Haibing Zhou and Ms. Ying Hou donated RMB 100 million to their alma mater Nankai University, part of which was used to establish Zhide Foundation. Over the past three years, with the total funding exceeding RMB 3 million, the Foundation has offered support to seventy-eight excellent students, twenty-eight outstanding teachers and the accomplishment of twenty-two excellent academic papers.
