The unique quantum characteristics of the quantum Cheshire cat first revealed by experiment

Guang-Can Guo, member of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), fellow of The World Academy of Sciences for the advancement of science in developing countries (TWAS), and professor at University of Science and Technology of China, has led his team to make important progress in research on the fundamental problems of quantum physics. Collaborating with Prof. Jingling Chen from the Chern Institute of Mathematics of Nankai University, the research team successfully revealed the unique quantum characteristics of the quantum Cheshire cat. On June 15 the research result was published in the international authoritative journal Nature Communications.
