On December 21, a dumpling making event named as "The Warm Winter Solstice" was held by CIM at lunchtime at Jiayuan's restaurant.

Winter Solstice is a traditional festival in China. With the shortest daytime and the longest night in a year, it indicates that the spring is drawing near. As a Chinese poem says, "On winter solstice spring will come without delay." (extracted from "Winter Solstice" translated by Prof. Xu Yuanchong and Xu Ming). To convey the idea that "we can warm each other despite the cold winter", the CIM Postgraduate Association organized this welcomed dumpling making event, more than 60 teaching staff and students participated in it.

"The Warm Winter Solstice" event was absolutely joyous and meaningful, as teaching staff and students were all enjoying the making and deliciousness of the dumplings and by which brought much closer.
