Tianjin Talent Work Leading Group recently has formally announced the list of the 3rd batch of Tianjin Distinguished Talent. Prof. Zizhou Tang from the Chern Institute of Mathematics, Nankai University (NKU) was selected into the list as talent of the field of basic research on natural science.

Tianjin Distinguished Talent, as the highest-level Tianjin municipal academic and technological honorary titlel, is awarded once every two years to around 20 talents each time. This year four talents on the list, including Prof. Zizhou Tang, are from Nankai University. So far there have been twelve professors of NKU selected as Tianjin Distinguished Talent.
