New progress made in test of quantum nonlocality without using Bell-type inequalities
2021-04-30 14:30

News Summary:

A new method recently has been experimentally tested to detect the nonlocality in  multipartite quantum systems without using Bell-type inequalities, jointly by Professor Chuanfeng Li and Professor Jinshi Xu from the research team led by Academician Guangcan Guo of the University of Science and Technology of China, and research team led by Professor Jingling Chen of Nankai University. The research paper titled "Experimental test of generalized Greenberger—Horne—Zeilinger-type paradoxes in and beyond graph states" was published in the international authoritative online journal npj Quantum Information on April 28, 2021.

Zhenghao Liu, PhD student from the CAS Key Laboratory of Quantum Information, and Jie Zhou, PhD student from the Chern Institute of Mathematics of Nankai University, are the co-first authors of the published research article. The work was supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and Anhui Initiative in Quantum Information Technologies.
