On June 6, the initiating meeting and implementation plan demonstration meeting of the National Key R&D Program of China "Key Scientific Issue on Transformational Technologies — the Theory of Hamiltonian Systems and its Applications", which is led by Nankai University, was held in Shiing-Shen Building. Jun Chen, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and vice president of Nankai University, and Project Directors Junsheng Li and Qingyan Jia from the HTRDC of Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China were invited to attend the meeting. The expert group on program consultation is composed of Prof. Meirong Zhang from Tsinghua University, Prof. Zhaoli Liu from Capital Normal University and Prof. Zizhou Tang from Nankai University. Experts and scholars including Jiangong You, program leader and professor at Nankai University, and Yiming Long, member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, key member of the program and professor at Nankai University were also present at the meeting.
