On July 28-August 3, 2024, the Summer Courses organized by Qiongling Li was held in Shiing-Shen Building. Offered mainly to senior undergraduates and graduate students who are interested in geometry and topology, the Summer Courses provided a great platform for young students, and attracted many participants from well-known universities and research institutes at home and abroad.

Over seven days, two courses were offered by Prof. Weixu Su from Sun Yat-sen University ("Holomorphic quadratic differentials and Teichmüller theory") and Prof. Tian Yang from the Texas A&M University ("Quantum Invariants and the Volume Conjecture"). Apart from teaching the basic knowledge of related fields, there were also exercise lessons to help the students have a better command of what they learned, and group discussions for the teachers and students to exchange their ideas on academic topics as well as solving the problems in daily life that may occur at the very beginning of one's research career.
