2024-11-14 10:12

On November 3-7, 2024, the International Conference on Operad Theory and Related Topics was held in Shiing-Shen Building. The conference mainly focused on operad theory and related hot topics. It was organized by Prof. Chengming Bai from Nankai University, Prof. Yan-Hong Bao from Anhui University, Prof. Yu Ye from the University of Science and Technology of China, Prof. James J. Zhang from the University of Washington and Prof. Guo-Dong Zhou from the East China Normal University. Over 60 participants from the United States, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Ireland, Italy, Spain, etc. attended this conference.

A total of 22 lectures were given during the conference on major topics of operad theory and related fields, such as Koszul duality, Gelfand-Kirillov dimensions, Rota-Baxter operators and homotopy theory. Invited speakers included Michael Batanin from the Czech Academy of Sciences, Chris Brav from the Shanghai Institute for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences, Jun Chen from Nanjing University, Vladimir Dotsenko from the Université de Strasbourg, Zheng-Ping Gui from the International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Philip Hackney from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Lander Hermans from the Universiteit Antwerpen, Yan-Yong Hong from Hangzhou Normal University, Hong-Lei Lang from the China Agricultural University, Si Li from Tsinghua University, Jie-Feng Liu from the Northeast Normal University, Zheng-Wei Liu from Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications and Tsinghua University, Victor Roca i Lucio from the Université Paris Cité, J. Peter May from the University of Chicago, Veronica Pasquarella from the Shanghai Institute for Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences, Andrea Solotar from the University of Buenos Aires, Rong Tang from Jilin University, Jun-Wu Tu from ShanghaiTech University, Yi-Long Wang from Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications, Ze-Rui Zhang from the South China Normal University, Xian-Gui Zhao from Huizhou University and Fo-Ling Zou from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.

The conference provided a great platform for experts and scholars in the field of operad theory to share their work results and ideas, and promoted collaboration in this field. It is conducive to the future development of related research fields in China.
