On November 23, the LPMC Work Report Meeting and Academic Committee Meeting were held at Chern Institute of Mathematics (CIM). Yulu Chen, President of Nankai University, attended and addressed the Work Report Meeting. Members of the Academic Committee, including Song Jiang, Jiping Zhang, Shicheng Wang, Yiming Long, Weiping Zhang, Anmin Li, Xiangyu Zhou, Genghua Fan, Zengjing Chen, Jingsong Huang, Chuanming Zong, Junyi Guo and Chengming Bai, were present at the meetings. Chengming Bai, Vice President of Nankai University, Director of CIM and Director of the Key Laboratory of Pure Mathematics and Combinatorics (LPMC), gave a presentation on the review of LPMC's work over the past five years.

At the Work Report Meeting, three NKU Chair Professors — Su Gao, Shaoming Guo and Xiaonan Ma — gave their lectures on "Extremely amenable Polish groups", "The orthogonal projections of fractal sets and applications" and "Dirac operator: from analysis to geometry" respectively.

At the Academic Committee Meeting, the committee members held in-depth discussions on the development and construction of LPMC, and provided valuable insights and comments.
