On December 28, the LPMC Work Report Meeting and Academic Committee Meeting were held at the Chern Institute of Mathematics (CIM), Nankai University. Yulu Chen, President of Nankai University, attended the Work Report Meeting and delivered an address. Chengming Bai, Vice President of Nankai University and Director of the MOE Key Laboratory of Pure Mathematics and Combinatorics (LPMC), presented a comprehensive review of the laboratory's 2025 work progress. In attendance were distinguished academics including Academicians Song Jiang, Lei Guo, Shicheng Wang, Yiming Long, Weiping Zhang and Xiangyu Zhou, as well as Professors Genghua Fan, Zengjing Chen, Chuanming Zong and Junyi Guo.

At the Work Report Meeting, three recipients of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars — Changliang Zou, Libo Yang and Guangxiang Su — delivered lectures on their respective research topics "Algorithm/Model-Agnostic Statistical Inference", "Kazhdan-Lusztig polynomials for matroids" and "Positive scalar curvature and area enlargeable manifold".

At the Academic Committee Meeting, the committee members engaged in in-depth discussions on the development and construction of LPMC, and provided valuable insights and recommendations.
