The Workshop on Algebras and Applications in Mathematical Physics was held at the Chern Institute of Mathematics, Nankai University from June 29 to July 3, 2025. The Workshop Organizing Committee comprises Professor Andrey Lazarev (Lancaster University), Dr. Guilai Liu (Nankai University), Professor Abdenacer Makhlouf (Université de Haute-Alsace), Professor Yunhe Sheng (Jilin Universty) and Professor Rong Tang (Jilin Universty). Attracting over 50 scholars from the UK, the US, Estonia, the UAE and China, the workshop also served as one of the celebratory events marking the 40th anniversary of the Chern Institute of Mathematics.

A total of 18 academic talks were delivered at the workshop by invited speakers, including Professor Naihuan Jing (North Carolina State University), Professor Viktor Abramov (University of Tartu), Professor Haisheng Li (Rutgers University-Camden), Professor Li Guo (Rutgers University-Newark) and Professor Martin Bordemann (Université de Haute-Alsace). These academic talks focused on the latest advancements in algebras and its applications in mathematical physics. The workshop provided a great opportunity for experts and scholars to exchange ideas and insights, and further promoted the development of relevant research fields.
