The 2026 conference on Lie theory (NKU-NYU Abu Dhabi-SUSTech) was held at the Chern Institute of Mathematics, Nankai University from March 25 to March 29, 2026. The Workshop Organizing Committee comprises Professor Chengming Bai (Nankai University) and Professor Vyacheslav Futorny (Southern University of Science and Technology). The Academic Committee comprises Professor Sofiane Bouarroudj (New York University Abu Dhabi), Professor Shaobin Tan (Xiamen University) and Professor Efim Zelmanov (Southern University of Science and Technology). The Workshop attracted over 30 scholars from Canada, India, Brazil, and different regions of China, including Hong Kong, Jilin, Tianjin, Shenzhen and Xiamen.

A total of 15 academic talks were delivered at the Workshop by invited speakers, focusing on the latest advancements of Lie theory and related topics. The workshop provided a great opportunity for experts and scholars to exchange ideas and insights, and further promoted the development of relevant research fields.
