The Workshop on Recent Progress on Representation Theory of Reductive Groups and Quantum Theory was held at the Chern Institute of Mathematics, Nankai University from July 13 to July 17, 2025. The Workshop was organized by Professor Chengming Bai (Nankai University), Professor Jingsong Huang (The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen), Professor Kayue Daniel Wong (The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen) and Dr. Ning Li (Nankai University). Attracting around 60 scholars from the United States, Croatia, Japan and China, the Workshop also served as one of the celebratory events marking the 40th anniversary of the Chern Institute of Mathematics.
A total of 15 academic talks were delivered at the Workshop by invited speakers, including Professor Dan Barbasch (Cornell University), Professor Binyong Sun (Zhejiang University), Professor Dongwen Liu (Zhejiang University), Professor Jun Yu (Peking University), Professor Jiajun Ma (Xiamen University), Professor Kei Yuen Chan (the University of Hong Kong), Professor Kyo Nishiyama (Aoyama Gakuin University), Professor Pavle Pandzic (University of Zagreb), Professor Hirofumu Yamada (Rikkyo University), Professor Qing Zhang (Huazhong University of Science and Technology), Professor Wei Xiao (Shenzhen University) and Professor Chaoping Dong (Soochow University). These academic talks focused on the latest advancements and future development trends of representation theory of reductive groups and related topics. The workshop provided a great opportunity for experts and scholars to exchange ideas and insights, and further promoted the development of relevant research fields.
