The Workshop on Mathematical and Learning Methods for Image Processing was held at the Chern Institute of Mathematics, Nankai University from June 5 to June 8, 2026. The Workshop was chaired by Professor Bin Dong from Peking University. The Organizing Committee comprises faculty members from the computational mathematics research group of Nankai University, including Chunlin Wu, Guanghui Hu, Yunhua Xue, Chao Zeng, Yufei Zhao, Hangrui Yue, Daoping Zhang, Bing Gao and Yanan Zhao. Over 50 scholars from Singapore and China attended the Workshop.

Professor Chunlin Wu presided over the opening ceremony of the Workshop. Professor Xiaonan Ma, Director of the Chern Institute of Mathematics, and Professor Bin Dong from Peking University delivered speeches. A total of 32 academic talks were delivered at the Workshop by invited speakers, focusing on the latest advancements of mathematical and learning methods for image processing. The Workshop provided a great opportunity for experts and scholars to exchange ideas and insights, and further promoted the development of relevant research fields.
